Poverty means that the income level from employment is so low that basic human needs can't be met. Poverty-stricken people and families might go without proper housing, clean water, healthy food, and medical attention. Each nation may have its own threshold that determines how many of its people are living in poverty. Today it's the biggest challenge in many countries And with special reference when we talk about our country even we are developing the County in the state of poverty .

I don't want to mention in statistics about the poverty status of our country .the ground reality is that all the numbers regarding the poverty are manipulated by the organisation to show good status of the country .All the Governments which formed government in our country start their Political agenda with eradicating poverty but not all the government were successful in this cause .we still have lot of poverty in our country .

A good economy always use its resources to the fullest .but a country like India is still unable to utilise its resources to the fullest because of the Poverty as most of the human rare searching for basic amenities .When we can full fill the basic need of the people they transfer their interest to other .But the reality is that most of them are busy searching for food and other amenities where We are not able to use the resources fully .

The reasons for poverty are many But the root cause is not at all found where to start for eradicating poverty. Mainly the structures of the government , corruption ,red tapism , nepotism ,lack of awareness ,and moreover the vote bank of Political leaders . Leaders of our country always focused on the vote bank instead of concentrating on poverty. We have different types of poverty

Absolute poverty.

Relative Poverty.

Situational Poverty.

Generational Poverty.

Rural Poverty.

Urban Poverty.

No country in the world can eradicate poverty as it's very difficult . Even if the inflation rate goes high and poverty is eradicated, many economic reforms can bring change in poverty .
